I'm including a little rant in this, but this is a guide for Inferno Minions:
Since the introduction of Inferno Minions, we've all recognized them as slow, unreliable gambling minions — relying on other minions just to function. To even get decent performance, you need two or three high-tier minions alongside roughly 7 or 8 lower-tier ones that you're not even fueling, all for that 180% speed boost.
We've gotten several reworks for the minions themselves. For example, on August 5th, 2022, chili peppers were introduced as a drop. Then the minions were reworked again to increase speed by 9%, and drop chances of:
Also remember: If, and only if, an Inferno Minion is fueled with Inferno Minion Fuel, Derpy will not double their output.
It’s also good to remember that you only need 10 minions for the max speed boost, but people don't like waiting for certain drops. This guide is to maximize output.
First-time fueling using Gabagool Distillate for the minions will cost roughly:
901,956,240 coins
Daily fueling cost:
93,756,240 coins for 12 minions
With all this said, I don't think normal players will be too happy dumping 9–12 billion coins into a minion setup, on top of a one-time fueling cost of 900 million, just to pay 100 million coins a day to maximize chili pepper output.
As for Ironman players with how grindy it is, I think they dislike it even more. They can’t just buy the items:
Because right now, it’s worse than P2W crates on a faction server
I'll also make a guide for Ironmans in a different post.

- Vertex by +2.8%
- Apex by +20%
- Chili Peppers by +15%
Fuel Results:
- Gabagool Distillate: Produces 1 Gabagool per harvest (IMO, the best fuel)
- Magma Cream Distillate: Produces 1 to 3 Magma Cream per harvest
- Glowstone Distillate: Produces 2 to 3 Glowstone
- Nether Wart Distillate: Produces 3 to 7 Nether Wart
- Blaze Rod Distillate: Produces 1 Blaze Rod
Also remember: If, and only if, an Inferno Minion is fueled with Inferno Minion Fuel, Derpy will not double their output.
Drop Chances (Per Roll):
- Chili Pepper: 0.6410256% (1/156)
- Inferno Vertex: 0.0061% (1/16,364)
- Inferno Apex: 0.0000636574% (1/1,570,909)
- Reaper Pepper: 0.0002182539% (1/458,182)
- Gabagool the Fish: 0.0000254629% (1/3,927,273)

Costs (12 Minions):
- 12 Tier 10s: 9,436,427,520 coins
- 12 Tier 11s: 11,945,894,400 coins
- 12 Mithril Infusions @ 5.5m: 66,000,000 coins
- 24 Flycatchers @ 22.84m: 548,160,000 coins
- If lucky, 12 Free Wills @ 16.17m: 194,040,000 coins
- 12 Mithril Infusions
- 24 Flycatchers
- 12 Free Wills

As for Ironman players with how grindy it is, I think they dislike it even more. They can’t just buy the items:
- They have to fish for Water Hydra Heads
- Fight Tier 4 Blaze slayer Slayers
- Save Gabagool from their minions
- Get bits for Inferno Minion Fuel Blocks
- Mine Mithril
- Fight Tier 4 Spider Slayer
- Get lucky with Free Wills in the Rift
- Hope their minions don’t leave
- And grind more bits to upgrade Lava Buckets
Suggestion for Future:
Maybe the devs can add a Chili Pepper Distillate that increases the amount per harvest to 1 or even just 0.05 (like Gabagool). Or at least make it drop from T3–T4 Inferno Demon Lords, on top of the Derelict Ash:- 6 to 8 on T3s
- 12 to 22 on T4s
Because right now, it’s worse than P2W crates on a faction server
