have not interacted with a seal and have not seen any evidence of one. I don't believe in seals. Sure people have been sending photos but AI is getting good and theres this thing called a deepfake or someting which is like where you photo but it's realistic and it;s fake though so i think it's that.

Seriously where are the seals?

Awful gameplay loop to me, it’s legit try to fish up balls for 30mins, proceed to whiff half of them because internet is funny, then do it another 30 mins and repeat. Will just ignore past the talisman because there isn’t anything else to go for.
Ok update because I didn’t know that it counts as junk with the sinker, makes it more enjoyable with that in mind because I can at least progress in the Bayou stuff while working on beach balls at least so it doesn’t feel like a complete waste of time just working on balls.

So basically works as a side thing, money or progression that you gotta work on otherwise on its own it’s rather lackluster.

Another bump to Steeve.

I don't know how it can even be considered an "event" when the only content that it offers are 2 items that are essentially one and an npc shop that only offers skyblock exp
I'm also not a huge fan of how lackluster the event is to the point where it really doesn't feel like an event, and more like the addition of two items to the fishing treasure pool and a new NPC to purchase items from. It doesn't help that, alongside the bouncy ball "minigame" not really feeling like a minigame (and often times being far too janky, especially the jumbo ball), as another person here mentioned, the event doesn't have any replayability to it. Sure, as others've have mentioned, it's very profitable, but I don't think it's too much to ask that a special, once-every-two-months event, for the most part, be fun to engage in and actually feel like it's worth its timegate.

Though with that said, part of me is slightly glad the event is lackluster, at least in some elements. Timegating good gear and thelike is something I am never really a fan of and at the very least, this event doesn't make you feel like you're missing out anything grandiose if you decide not to participate. Though, that doesn't change the fact the event, in its current state, is not very interesting.
