Hello!

Today we have opened the Alpha network in order to test a new 1.0 feature - Museums.

The Museum is located on the Hub at the western base of the Mountain.

Report bugs the usual way (https://hypixel.net/forums/server-bug-reports.35/). Make sure you select Alpha during the reporting process.

The goal of this alpha release is to test the Museum for issues before releasing to main net. Please join alpha.hypixel.net to help us test and let us know of any issues you encounter - especially item wipes. We know some items are missing from the museum - we will add those in soon. Feel free to discuss the update on this thread too.

In a future patch we plan on adding rewards for donating items. For now, the reward is bragging rights.

i really don't see the point of this if you can't use items while they are in the museum. in order to show an item that you also want to use you would need two copies of it?? thats just absurd

honestly this would be really cool sort of like collections but for items, if you could just use them while they are in the museum. not being able to use them is the one thing that just completely breaks this for me

correction: you can take an item out of the museum and it will still be shown as completed, but you still can't have it on display while using it. a lot better than i thought but is still sort of confusing to me. but i suppose it makes sense since if you had items on display on your island you can't exactly use those either. it is still a bit disappointing that items don't count towards your valuation unless you put them away though

Finally a way to show off all the items I hoard in chests

I think you should be able to transfer coop binding when replacing an item in the museum.
Say there's a necron chestplate in there and i want to have another one without binding both of them to my profile.
The old one will loose binding while the new one will be bound in return.
