That's understandable, game development is incredibly difficult in every creative aspect.Your response of "just get a job there and do it yourself" was just incredibly passive agressive and childish. The problem I have with constantly complaining about how slow updates roll out, and how small they are, is that in my eyes, a lot of people don't understand how complicated it is to design and develop updates, me included, to some extent.
I would really love to know what creative Video ideas you could imagine seeing.I feel like most of it has already been done, like island building competitions/ratings,challenge videos and races etc. It's true though. Like I've stated in the thread (at least I hope so), the same can be said for Vanilla Minecraft. Some may consider it to be boring, as it's just "Gather resources, get some gear, kill the Ender Dragon, that's it", but other people have proven that Vanilla Minecraft is so much more than just killing the Ender Dragon in a boring and simple way. There's always room for creativity, and so is there in SkyBlock. It might be hard to imagine, because we're so used to content that's closely bound to the progression line, but it very much is possible to create fantastic videos without including progression, or by putting the progression aspect aside
The YT channel Trusted makes challenge videos, like his newest video, where he completes dungeons floors without any armor(while playing tank).
I personally cannot imagine any new video ideas.I think the main issue is that skyblock itself confines players.
It's not PVP,which makes it harder to create content like 1v1s,civilization videos etc.The type of stuff you see on Vanilla Minecraft.
100 Days videos would just be more progression again as well.
