Why is this community so toxic. Screw elitism i hate it so much.

I think we as a community always seem to forget that the main reason to play skyblock is to have fun.
Some people might find playing the game optimally to be fun, others might get enjoyment out of doing whatever silly thing they want. That is the beauty of skyblock and minecraft, it welcomes all kinds of playstyles.

not to brag bro, but ik its not much, but i actually acquired 5 coins in skyblock today, ik its not much, but not everyone can live up to this potential

Boy oh boy if you play League of Legends you'll see what toxic means lol. If everywhing they say was true, I would have at least 1500 different fathers, around 10000 siblings, my mother would be extremely rich working as a prost.. and I would have died/been killed in at least 50000 different ways.

Jokes aside, I completely agree with you, people forget that Skyblock is a PvE with no IRL benefits, it's not a competition at all, but they still act like if it was... They don't get that as soon as most of the players reach a certain progress, it'll "force" the admins to create new things to make everyone keep playing.

Besides me not playing this game anymore, I never said that having a decent networth or being decent at the game is bad. I am saying that it doesn't make you better than anyone else which seems to be the mentality.

If you are talking about these forums specifically I found most of the toxic posts come from a handful of users that are posting all the time. I just blocked a few people and it made the experience a lot better. Sucks for new users though because their first interactions will likely be with some of these people.

What does his NW have to do with anything? I have a much higher NW and never been rude to any players unless they really asked for it. I also will tell anyone I suck at the game I just play it a lot.

Funny enough I found some people that liked this post which I though are toxic so either they are oblivious of it or I am just too sensitive to these things.

like if they a toxic ***** it’s just open season for all the others to come out and give their takes
if they’re helpful, then not.

i hope you are intelligent enough to realize that having made progress in the video game does not entitle or obligate you to be an ass lol, and not everyone with a decent to high networth conducts themselves like one.

although there’s many examples where the person asking for advice clearly is out of their depth so people start clowning on them simply because there’s no relevant advice to give (is my thinking)

plus that kinda stuff gets more retention, like i considered making a bait post so people would give more advice lol. i didn’t and i got good advice anyways but i still think that could be the case sometimes
