So this was a thought that occured to me. One of the bests items in skyblock is a terminator. But for a very good terminator, what effort went into it. How many hours were put into obtained that item which is now being sold on the auction house.
The terminator I'm using is this maxed out one on the auction. For item's with multiple ways of obtaining it, we're going to try to use the
Let's start with the plain terminator
There's the judgement core which is obtained from 1/1771 t4 eman
However because magic find exists and rng meter exists, we'll assume that this was obtained within 500 t4 emans
There's also null atoms and null spheres but in 500 t4 emans, your probably going to get enough of them
You also need over 6.5 million lapis, nearly 5 million quartz, nearly 1 million obsidian, 600,000 flint and over 1 million ender pearls.
The next thing you need is 640 griffin feathers. A griffin feather has a 66.6% chance to drop from a burrow so 640 * 1.5 = 960 griffin burrows that must be dug up
You also need 1024 soul string. Assuming you do t2 arachne and summon it, and you get the average 43 soul string, it will take 24 arachnes to do it.
However each arachne requires an arachne crystal to spawn.
Arachne crystals need 3 arachne fragments which can only be obtained from t1 arachne with an 100% drop rate for 1.
So you need to do t1 arachnes which give soul string. Okay don't check my math, you will get confused but you need to do 45 t1 arachnes and 15 t2 arachnes to get all the soul string you need
You then also need the 180 arachne keeper kills
The next thing is 16,000 tarantula silk which comes out to 282 t4 tarantula kills.
Finally we're done... WITH THE BASE TERMINATOR
next thing is 5 base stars which comes out to 2190 dragon essence. By sacrificing ender equipment, we will need 730 pieces of ender equipment
Next we have master stars: This requires doing a lot of master mode runs. On the plus side, this allows us to get precice reforge stone (watcher), recombulator overload(m5), infinite quiver and fuming potato books (not hot potato as we will be obtaining those from farming because that's the intended way).
So we will need to do a lot of runs however since 5 people can do a run, it's actually not that many
we need to do 10 m3 runs, 5 m4 runs, 20 m5 runs, 32 m6 runs, and 60 m7 runs to get our master stars.
Next hot potato books which we need 256000 potatos (and 30 paper). Assuming 2000 farming fortune you will need to break 12800 potato plants to get all your hot potato books.
Next thing (I am pulling random upgrades to calculate) is the art of war which costs 7.5m and 51200 pork chops or assuming 1 pig drops 1 pork chop, you need to kill 51,200 pigs (or your minions do it).
Next up? Duplex. Assuming you get 1 duplex every 25 t4 blaze(I have no idea if this is accurate), and you need 16 duplex 1 books to make duplex 5. You need to kill 400 t4 blazes to get duplex 5. Lucky for us, we can also get smoldering here as well from smoldering blazes.
Last but not least, enchantments.
We can get impaling, punch, piercing, flame and dragon tracer from basic enchanting. We also need dragon hunter which can be bought for 16m from pearl dealer. You can buy divine gift for 100m from shen's regalia.
next tabasco which needs 6 kuudra teeth which are obtained from kuudra reward chest. Using basic kuudra we need 6 keys which can be bought for 1.2 million coins, 12 nether stars and 1,920 mycelium/red sand. To get 12 nether stars, you have to kill 4 vanquishers and to kill 4 vanquishers you need to kill an average of 416 nether mobs. Tabasco also needs a stack of chile peppers. To get a stack of chilli peppers we need to use various things according to my estimates requires 2 legendary fuel. To get the legendary fuel, we need magma cream distillates which we got enough from blazes. Inferno fuel block from bits is 260 bits in total. Also 2x hypergolic gabagool which requires 400,000 coal, 24,000 sulfur and 14000 crude gabagool. The crude gabagool can be obtained from inferno minions so thats it for the tabasco book.
The next book is toxophilate which is a stacking enchantment. It requires 4000 bits to get the base 1 and 10900000 combat exp to level up to max
The next book is vicious 5 which is obtained from the dark auction at a 1/6 chance so we need to wait 6 hours. As for it's price it goes for 166m on bazaar and when you add the da-overbidding-tax I'll guestimate to be 200m to get the book
The last books we need are power 7, chance 5, cubism 6 and snipe 4. The more expensive ones have a ~3% chance to be obtained. Estimates indicate about 61 roles will be needed. This is also where we get our expirience.
After an insane amount of guestimation this is how much work will be required
