Network Idea for a game I call "The Mole" about a crazy plane crash survival experience

This is a concept for a game I created that I hope Hypixel will create and add to their server one day.

The concept is that a set number of players - could be 20, 50, 100, etc.—awaken at the crash site of a plane on a remote island. Each player is in a different seat, giving the idea of where they were on the plane before it went down. One of these players is "the Mole," kind of like the murderer in Murder Mystery. Only this is a bit different. The mole is the person who crashed the plane, but their mission to not only crash it, but also to kill the passengers, has failed. There are survivors. The mole now has a new mission: finish the job. Only, they must do it discreetly so as not to be taken out instead.

The island itself would be dangerous as it would be filled with wild animals and poisonous plants, and other various things, but of course, the main issue is the Mole. The Mole can only kill at night, and I imagine that at night, the place would be pitch black, and you would need a flashlight to see, but you could only see a small bit in front of you. This makes it easier for the Mole to kill undetected. The Mole can see more than others at night. However, you may think killing the Mole means the game is over. No. If you kill the Mole, you become the Mole. But, then everyone would know you are the Mole, right? No. I think that maybe once you kill the Mole, you reappear somewhere else on the map with a new skin. Also, perhaps there should be no gaming tags above players. This makes it harder to know where people are or who they are.

I also want the game to be about something else, too. I want it to simulate society in a way. The mole happens at night. But day time presents a whole new gameplay. Will a player take charge of the survivors and become the leader? Could the Mole themself be the leader and no one know? Would factions form between the survivors and a war go on even as the presence of the Mole and night falling looms over them? Will the players become tribal or animalistic, sacrificing players or exiling them? Would the players use the plane as a shelter or strip it apart to build another, or something entirely different? Anything is possible. But the one goal of the game is simple: stay alive by any means necessary.

There could be two modes, "Last Man Standing" and "The Countdown."
In Last Man Standing, you must be the last one left alive to win the game, no matter how long it takes.
In the Countdown, there would be a timer that represents how long the players have before they are rescued from the island. Once the timer runs out, a helicopter will land on a set location on the island. A new timer starts, in which at the end of that timer the helicopter will leave. Players must get to the helicopter in that time, but they can still die before they get to it or even when they are on the helicopter before the timer runs out. Once the second timer runs out, the ones on the helicopter escape. The ones left behind lose the game.
Or, the two modes could be one mode in which the helicopter only comes if the players locate the transceiver and call for help, otherwise, the last man standing wins. The transceiver would be in a random location every game.

This game would be a long, suspenseful, social experiment plane crash-themed game. Almost like you are a cast in a movie and your every move writes the script, and every time it is played, the player's actions presents a new story that in of itself would present new obstacles each time.

I hope you all like my idea, and I really hope it comes to life one day.

Here is a plane crash I made that depicts the look and vibe I imagine when a player awakens at the start of the game:

Yes, I made that plane crash in singleplayer. Added sound effects etc. I did not make it for this idea. I actually made that crash over a year ago. I just figured it fits the idea perfectly.

I like it, but this isn't the right server for such gamemode. Hypixel players whine when a game is longer than 5-10 minutes. Also, they can't socialize, they won't talk, they won't form any factions or whatever. They'll just all camp in one place, so the killer can't kill them and therefore they win the game or if you prevent that somehow, they'll find some other way to win with no effort

First of all, plenty of games have 50. Look at the pit.
Second of all, I listed different quantities. You said you did not read all, maybe read more before making a conclusion? I would think that should be expected.
Third of all, Hypixel will code it if they LIKE the idea and want to. That is the whole point of suggesting it. Like lol?
Fourth of all, any of the things I described can be done on Minecraft, and yet you think it can only be done on Roblox? Okay, lol.

But thanks for liking the idea!

I think it is possible for my idea to work. But I doubt Hypixel will even make it.

Hey!! I want to say I really love your idea, it’s very engaging and if you haven’t already, I urge you to check out “yellowjackets”, it really goes well with the kind of atmosphere you created with this game, it’s a really good series on netflix.

This could work! I understand having a larger playerscale would make the game much more fun but from a realistic standpoint this may not be ideal given how the playerbase is often divided and can barely scrape 100 players in a certain gamemode, especially a new one with little backing behind it. I think 20-30 can work just fine. 20 is the minimum while 30 can be the maximum, and anything in between can set the game to start.

No. I think that maybe once you kill the Mole, you reappear somewhere else on the map with a new skin. Also, perhaps there should be no gaming tags above players. This makes it harder to know where people are or who they are.
This can definitely be created by Hypixel, and similar mechanics have been utilised before.
I can imagine that all the players have permanent blindness effects while the mole can have shots of night vision or speed. I just don’t know how easy it would be for the mole to survive— I may have misunderstood but how exactly do the moles and passengers alike survive under the conditions? Do they loot chests around the crash landing like in the Blocking Dead, or is there some kind of force that provides them with resources?

I also want the game to be about something else, too. I want it to simulate society in a way. The mole happens at night. But day time presents a whole new gameplay. Will a player take charge of the survivors and become the leader? Could the Mole themself be the leader and no one know? Ideally, this is great and I am also curious to see how they would work under such a scenario, but knowing the community itself, I doubt that a lot would happen. If you take a look at pre-existing games like VZ, players rarely go out of their comfort zone, they all just flock in a small house and attempt to survive up until the final wave, with very little effort otherwise.

There could be two modes, "Last Man Standing" and "The Countdown."
This is interesting!

In Last Man Standing, you must be the last one left alive to win the game, no matter how long it takes.

Once the second timer runs out, the ones on the helicopter escape. The ones left behind lose the game.
Through this description, I think that instead of making an entirely new gamemode, your suggestion could become a secondary map or mode present in Blocking Dead in the arcade lobby. It fits well with that concept and it would save resources, it could also invite more players to play these sorts of fun, longitudinal survival games!

This game would be a long, suspenseful, social experiment plane crash-themed game. Almost like you are a cast in a movie and your every move writes the script, and every time it is played, the player's actions presents a new story that in of itself would present new obstacles each time.
I’m sure every player, as much as they wouldn’t like to admit, loves being in the limelight! The story sounds extremely compelling and it could be a whole movie in itself, a Hypixel gamemode would do it only so much justice haha

Do you think there would be XP rewards, achievements or a general timestamp so we have an estimation of how long games can be? I think that, on average the longest games are around 20-60 minutes on the network, I may be wrong though. (AA zombies I will not count).
I hope you all like my idea, and I really hope it comes to life one day.
I did enjoy it, and I hope so too!

I love the way you put it when you said "...they all just flock in a small house," LOL.
I had actually been thinking of an idea that the helicopters could come in play even in which being the last man standing is also a way to win. Perhaps, the players need to find a transceiver in order to call for help, which only that would bring in the helicopter situation, and the transceiver is always in a different location every game, but otherwise, you gotta be the last left alive to win.
And yes, there would probably be XP rewards and other various things, I'm sure. As for timestamps, I mean that could be fine. I just imagine that a game like what I described would be more focused on the social and survival aspect rather than just running a muck and killing each other within 3 minutes like its usually done.
Oh, and the players and mole survive by the traditional way of surviving in Minecraft. Nothing is given to them except whatever they can scrape up from the ruins of the plane. They'll just have to mine and craft and gather the old-fashioned way. In my opinion, simplicity gives more creative dynamic.
And yes, I have heard of the show Yellowjackets, but I have not looked at it. Maybe I will, thanks.

Thank you for liking my idea and giving all your interesting input. I enjoyed reading your response!

i upvoted your idea stop defending yourself like im straight up harrassing you

anyways, pit doesnt need 50 players, megawalls is just a bunch of sweaty people, and i really cant think of any others at this moment in time

i saw that you listed different quantities

hypixel will not take the time to code such an elabore thing considering all they code is sb (usually) because it makes them the most money

ik it can be done in mc but this is like a roblox game

Um, when you say things that make no sense and act rude, I will. Stop acting like a child, how about that?

Not even bothering to read the rest of your message. You don't deserve that. Not with how idiotic you act. Blocked so I wont be reading any future idiotic messages. Anyways lol

I think outright saying that you "didn't read the whole post", is enough to have some slander. Typically, if you have something to say, you should read the whole thing before making a judgement since something may be explained later in the text that may have prompted you to be confused/wanting to make a response.

That's just what I think, you'd have to ask them yourself.

Also, they can see this if they choose to. There's an option to view "ignored messages", and they pop up in the bottom right corner on a certain thread.

I hope you guys sort this out!!

I know I could still see it. But ill choose not to. I mean, I don't respect people who talk rude to me like that. Im perfectly content whether or not we sort it out.
I don't know why people start conflicts over nothing.

I just figured it fits the idea perfectly.
board game idea?
