Here, we'll keep you informed about all the latest additions, changes, and fixes that are important for you to know. These changes could range from minor updates to even major overhauls. Keep an eye on this thread for all important changes going forward!

Previously used forum sections regarding changes or updates will potentially be restructured or removed completely to keep our communication centralized as well as more clearly visible to our users. This thread will also not be retroactively updated.

September 4th 2024

  • Additional messaging will now be displayed on select deleted threads related to connection issues, account security, and server bugs to help reduce spam and provide greater assistance to impacted thread authors.
 
November 22nd 2024

  • Added Official Post Banners for posts made by the Hypixel team
  • Added new summary section at the top of threads for posts made by the Hypixel team that provide important context
 

December 6th 2024​

  • Added ":react_love: Love" reaction

December 9th 2024​

  • Passkeys support is now available
    • Passkeys are a new way to access your Hypixel.net account without a password. They make use of the security features built into your phone or computer, such as a fingerprint, Face ID, or PIN.
    • Passkeys are optional, and you can continue to log in using a password if you like.
 

March 3rd 2025​

  • Changed requirements of highest-tier trophies related to messages and reactions, as explained here
  • Added Bluesky and Threads fields in "Account details"
    • Similar to the Twitter field, usernames will be displayed as links in the user profile
    • When submitting your username, do not include the @ symbol
 

April 17th 2025​

  • Added a new "Bug Report Received" screen when submitting a bug report

April 21st 2025​

  • Updated reaction bar design
  • Usernames are now locked for 37 days when changed to allow the previous username owner to re-claim their old name for 7 days, similar to how Minecraft profile username changes work
  • Disabled support for .pdf and .zip file types in attachment uploads
