Apparently, more people would try to wither impact ranged enemies than use a shortbow to kill them. I feel like a joke for F7 pf could fit here...
Speaking of jokes, the most-selected option was one. We already covered Iron Sword and Book and Quill items, therefore this episode will be on Wooden Swords.
(Reminder: purple represents items with the enchantment glint by default.)
- Aspect of the Dead Meme, Signature Edition: A reward (or penalty, depending on how you see it) obtain from the Year 300 Raffle. It has 1 higher damage, 1 higher rarity, 10 more default Sharpness levels, and 100% more braincell loss than the original.
- Great Spook Sword: A sword with a base Damage of 0. The sword is given +1 Damage and +1 Strength for every 1 Fear stat you have. When a Wood Singularity is applied and it is recombobulated, this becomes the only current Divine Sword in the game. (Keep in mind, it can also have enchantments like Sharpness applied to it.)
- Sword of Revelations: A simple sword that deals "triple" (+200% additive) damage to Mythological Ritual creatures, but also makes you take 75% more damage from them. Crafted with a Stick, 8 Enchanted Gold Blocks, 8 Enchanted Ancient Claws, and 192 Griffin Feathers.
- Aspect of the Dead Meme: The start of a downwards spiral in what is wrongly assumed at first to be "funny". Crafted with a stick and two Move Jerry eggs. You can get an acehievement for applying a Wood Singularity to one, for some idiotic reason.
- Wooden Sword: The chad, better version of the previous item described. Crafted with a stick and two of any Wooden Planks variant. Can be used to craft minions that summon mobs.
- Tactician's Sword: A simple sword which grants +20 Crit Chance. The base 50 Damage is increased by +15 for each Combat Collection you have at Tier 7 or higher. (This includes Chili Pepper.) Purchased from Master Tactician Funk for 35,000 coins.
- Sword of Bad Health: A sword that uses up 5% of your max HP to give you up to 100 Strength for 5 seconds (with a 5s cooldown). It also has decent melee stats. Drops from Wither Spectres, Wither Skeletons, Blazes, and Bezals.
- Scorpion Foil: A sword from Spider Slayer with a "ticker" system. Using the sword's ability removes one "ticker" and heals you for 60 HP. Tickers come back after 5 seconds. Clearing all of the tickers adds +250% damage to the next hit. Crafted with a stick, 24 Tarantula Silk, and 128 Enchanted Acacia Wood. Requires Spider Slayer LVL 6 to use.
- Wyld Sword: The first weapon available in The Rift. Obtained after talking to the Threebrothers for 3 Shy Crux and 333 Motes. This item, under normal circumstances, cannot have an enchantment glint.
- Leech Sword: One of the upgrades to the Wyld Sword. Hitting a mob with it fills 3 Mana. Crafted with a Wyld Sword, 4 Leech Supreme Fragments, and 12 of the only Arrow item in the Rift, Deadgehog Spines.
In terms of inventory space:
- All 8 non-Rift swords can fit in one's hotbar at the same time.
- The total cost of all 8 of them is ~36.99M coins (roughly 36,988,297.5 coins), roughly 25.9M of which comes from Sword of Revelations. Keep in mind, this is prices while Diana is running for mayor (and hasn't been lately). Still vote for Diaz anyway for Rift Mountain :D
- Getting both Wooden Swords is an oddly-safe choice to make. If you accidentally crafted a Pickaxe with one of them before finishing the Reverse Murder case, you could make the other one into the murder weapon without too much backtracking!
