i’m doing bingo now and everything seems fine so far, only concerned about the mob grinding and the pet collector task until i realize that the centre square is moving along way slower than it theoretically should be
this is an older screenshot so slightly outdated numbers, i roughly guess that this is 36 hours into the bingo. but is the game seriously telling us that each contest is yielding an average of *only 60 tickets???*
so i complained about this on bingo brewers discord and according to one of the members said “yea so whether you get gold silver bronze or nothing you only get +1 total contribution, even if you get +10/15/25/30/35 personal*”
so basically even though i received 11 tickets from 2 contests, i actually technically only have 2 contributions towards the community goal. so suddenly the number doesn’t say “how many tickets have been contributed,” it’s instead “how many contests have people participated in.” it’s not “people are getting only 60 tickets average per contest,” it’s “there are 60 participants per contest on bingo”
since there’s a contest once every hour, the expected result from all this is 10,080 total participations over the course of 7 days. now a member in the bingo brewers discord reassured me that the community goal will be completed by then, but a pessimistic estimate requires about 150 bingo participants per hour
it’s not supposed to be this difficult right??? the other community goal related to farming indicates that we should have way more progress on this seemingly bugged one. am i just stupid or what?
uh thanks for reading i guess.
