Balancing Icy Sinker is ridiculously common

You've made the Icy Sinker ridiculously common compared to the former Auger Rod with the Backwater Bayou update. I've fished in Jerry's Workshop for about 5 minutes and dropped 3 of them. The fact that an item that triples the weight of Winter Sea Creatures costs 20,000 coins on the Auction House is a bit ridiculous. It should be a rare drop from a Yeti or something, not Frozen Steve.

I agree.
The auger rod was not a simple rod to make. It was expensive and required a drop from the yeti.
 
If they do that then they need to update characters that already turned theirs in to a frozen one too.

nope. Only from museum, which is a huge L from admins
rods that were not soulbound are tradable

what am I supposed to do with two soulbound rods of the sea and dozen of challenger rods?

I guess I must have museumed my auger rod before the update then.

Hopefully we get some sort of system that lets us salvage fishing rods on a future island or something idk
