How common are the mods that provide illegal knowledge?

There’s also a level of guessing and intuition to it, I’d say. If you’ve played five games in a row with someone and they weren’t murderer yet, you could kinda guess their chances are higher.

I feel like the hacks you’re mentioning is impossible if not near impossible since choosing the murderer is done behind the scenes in Hypixel, certain information just isn’t accessible to anyone before the round starts.
The level of intuition is very limited.
It's true that the server never sends the murderer's name to any innocent players, but there are certain ways you can know who the M is without even him ever being on your screen.

Yeah, any intuition is very limited. And although knowing the roles in advance is likely impossible, I understand what you mean now, regarding tools that give you knowledge without the murderer/detective being visible on your screen. I feel like tools like that would fly under the radar anyways since there’s a ton of teaming in MM and it’s difficult to pinpoint how people figure out who’s who.

In translation - "I don't know much about the situation in MM so I'll just deal in hypotheticals"
it's much different, might be impressed how much is possible

Exactly. I've just ragequitted from a murderer game where after 2 in-d0or kills by me and my partner, someone already disclosed our identities in the chat.

If cheating is so common and nobody should be at an unfair disadvantage, using cheats suddenly makes sense.

tbh it doesn't even require a genius to understand how to know who the M is, I've already revealed a significant hint by saying the M doesn't ever need to be visible on your screen.

Yeah I understand now I thought you were talking about in the pregame lobby before but it was a misunderstanding. I understand what cheats you’re referring to now.

a decent amount of players have it toggled so they can avoid that person.. works because plausible deniability. when gotten enough gold for the bow it's not impossible that a legitimate player would've figured out who it is due to intuition.. so it's pretty impossible to detect.
also, op, it's less possible, but players can hide and use f5 to extend their vision, round corners especially. also high fov. mine is set to 145 using an allowed badlion mod. it's great
as someone who used quake pro you are a menace to society dang

jkjkjk <3

yeah f5 is a viable strat that top mm players use just to check around corners and stuff its not bannable as far as i know (its a vanilla minecraft feature) and you should use it
