There is a massive problem with Hypixel Skyblock right now. You may have seen this happened multiple times and even youtubers are starting to notice this trend. Although there aren't bigger youtubers doing this Im sure soon they will start to notice and make videos themselves on it. But let me get to the point. The admins have the massive problem with nerfing things too hard or things that shouldn't be nerfed. They always see something that the players themselves have made a creative solution to do something and so they immediately make it bankable or nerf it into the ground. This has been a problem since day 1 of Skyblock. And ill go over what happened
Cactus farm
The classic farm, I even had one of these though very small. So what happened was day one of Skyblock when people realized you could sell these things they made cactus farms. And some made MASSIVE ones. Some of them reached 100x100x100. And if those cactus farms only made about 5 per second. They would still make 144k a night (mind you a person who plays would think 10k a day would be a great thing). And so Hypixel decided to nerf it into the ground making it almost worthless without putting an insane amount of effort to try and make back some of the previous value. Cactus farms themselves now are totally worthless because of inflation. People who made massive farms were getting alot of money yes, But they spent WEEKS and money they had to work for to make the farm. Not to mention having to afk it for 8 hours to make 144k. And dont say (AFking is easy everyone can do it) because I bet you, you haven't been AFKing every single night. Because you would be rich and have the time to see the problem that is constantly accuring when you try to afk. I understand that is was pretty overpowered for the time, but they destroyed its use and now its not even usable at the biggest levels. You would need to get 20 a second and have them sell for 3 coins a piece to make it work at least 1.7m a night with non stop afk. No variations. And not all of them even make it. Most of the people who complain are the people who were too lazy to make this farm in the first place.
