I use animated sword textures, it's AWESOME though it goes off my screen. Worth it.

  5. there are a lot of texturepacks that decrease the size of swords/fishing rods so it's easier to see (also less fire!)

you can google pvp resource packs or search them on youtube!

I tried all those, but they still feel massive.

  7. if you are good at designing, i'm pretty sure you can make your own texture pack online.
if not, i can recommend my texture pack, it's Defib Faithful edit (derp bow), it works for me!
also i like huahwi 1.8 texture pack

Oh, forgot to tell you. most pvp texture packs are for 1.8.9, so if you play in latest version, many pvp texture packs wont work. if you like the latest version, search 1.14 texture packs or something.
(i play 1.8.9 because i like it more lol)

    Texture pack maybe?

Idk if this has anything to do with textures but change your GUI scale?
