One thousand bottles of pop on the wall, one thousand bottles of pop. Take one down and pass it around, nine hundred ninety nine bottles of pop on the wall. Zero bottles of air on the wall, zero bottles of air! Pass one back and put it up, one bottle of air on the wall! Spoiler: General Thread Rules 1: Stay on track. Lots of random chatter posts mess up the count. 2: Don't be posting twice (or more) in a row, give room for other people. 3: Follow the template, if ye could. Spoiler: Summary for Confused People We count the bottles of pop air, starting at a thousand zero and going down up from there. Use the two lines above for your post, but with x number of bottles instead of one thousand zero. X should be equal to 1000 minus the previous post's number. E.g. the most recent post was the 81st. Therefore, you'd be posting '919 bottles of pop on the wall'. X should be equal to zero plus the previous post's number above 1000. E.g. the most recent post being the 1437th on the thread. Therefore, you'd be posting the transition from 437 bottles to 438. AKA Template: (x) bottles of pop on the wall, (x) bottles of pop. Take one down and pass it around, (x+1) bottles of pop on the wall. X is the number of bottles the previous reply had in the (x+1) section. To keep in track, that will be 1000 minus 0 plus said post's number (minus 1000). Unless someone screws this up. In which case, shame on them. Spoiler: How to find Post Numbers, I think I don't know if this is true for all platforms or whatever they're called, but the post reply number is above the quote and reply buttons; e.g. If ye haven't figured it out already, that post is the 857th post on a thread. (Not the 857th reply, the initial thread post is still counted as #1.) If you can't use that for some reason, I'm pretty sure the Forums display 20 posts per page, so that could be used to count as well, if needed. I already started up there, get to counting. And please try to stay on track, I'm a bit picky about that. Although this will probably get screwed up either way. Don't question my antics.
