Hey hey, It's finally time to welcome the spring season with a Murder Mystery new update! Today we're releasing a brand new map, Infection V2 balancing changes, lots of bug fixes, and community requested changes. Keep reading to learn more about the new changes! ▶ New Map: Archives Top Floor The rumors are true... there's more to this map than you thought. Now, you can access the top floor of Archives and learn more about the history of Murder Mystery and more. This map features a unique teleporter, soda vending machines, and a Mars Potion merchant! ▶ Infection V2 Changes We have been listening to your feedback on the original announcement post and the Murder Mystery sub-forum and have made the following changes in this update: Survivors will now spawn with 32 arrows The alpha infected will be visible on the minimap if they haven't infected a survivor in the last 30 seconds Keep sharing your thoughts about Infection V2 on this thread or in the Murder Mystery sub-forum! ▶ Bug Fixes & Community Requested Changes This update comes with a variety of bug fixes and community requested changes: Restricted access to various areas in San Peratico, alongside other community requested changes Added a recurring avalanche to Mountain (occurs every 1.5 minutes) Added bow kills and knife skills to the "Total Kills" count in the lobby scoreboard Double Up is no longer in beta mode and will now award achievements Changed leaderboards to display Lifetime stats by default (it was not meant to show Weekly) Fixed a variety of issues with animals on Archive (strolling, hittable, etc.) Fixed Wicked Ride and Don't go there achievements Fixed seasonal quest referring to gifts as chests Fixed bow not teleporting if the Detectives falls into the trap on Towerfall Fixed Kali accepting kill contracts Fixed a variety of minor gesture bugs Fixed an issue with names showing up multiple times in the tab list Fixed fellow Murderer showing up on the minimap when all survivors have been revealed in Double Up Fixed horse happily consuming Sparkly Snack (Golden Carrot) knife if offered Fixed action bar flashing during sword cooldown in Infection Fixed random items laying on the floor after a player used the Toy Stick Victory Dance Fixed kill contract being sometimes given to dead players in Assassins Fixed potions overwriting bows (and vice versa) on Library Fixed the detective receiving the detective blessing from Kali Fixed skin models for Sam, Dany, and Robyn in Assassins Fixed /mypos showing the wrong Murderer Kills count after playing Double Up This will be reimplemented soon Fixed some translation bugs and typos Fixed MVP++ color in end game card Fixed end game card not displaying Detectives/Heroes in Double Up Fixed knife throwing being blocked by the shield for players using Minecraft 1.9 and higher Fixed random rainbow-colored sheep not despawning after the Rainbow Dolly Victory Dance Fixed torch vendor's skin on Darkfall Fixed minimap in Double Up not showing multiple dropped bows Fixed normal death sound playing if a player dies to a trap that was never triggered by a player Fixed random client crashes occuring when the Toy Stick Victory Dance is used on Archives & San Peratico Spectators can no longer interact with item frames Spectators will no longer take damage from water in San Peratico Spectators can no longer access furnaces Spectators can no longer damage zombies on Darkfall The Murderers can now see each other on the minimap in Double Up Infected can no longer reveal the alpha's name in chat You will now receive an arrow as Detective when being revived by Kali Lowered environmental death sound volume We hope you enjoy the new updates!
