Following the Reclaim Update, we've been listening to your feedback and making its of appropriate balance changes and bug fixes. Today we've just launched another balancing patch informed by community feedback. Continue reading to find out more. ▶ Summary Since so much has been happening with Mega Walls, here's a summary of all the recent changes and updates: Right after release, we posted a balance proposal. It was followed by the balance patch, which contained major changes to the Phoenix class. We then shipped a bug fix patch. A month later we submitted another balance proposal as the meta settled. Today we are shipping this balance patch. ▶ General First chest The first mining chest a player finds is guaranteed to have: 1 bow, 12 arrows, an iron axe, 4 furnaces and a crafting table. The crafting table that player got in their hotbar on spawn was moved to the first chest aswell. Skeleton, Renegade and Blaze do not get a bow, but get double arrows instead. Hunter and Phoenix do not get either the bow or arrow, but instead get 2 iron blocks. Skeleton and Golem sacrifice the axe and instead get 1 iron block. Random class During the pregame, you can now pick the random option. Once the game starts, you will be assigned a random class from your collection. To reward this bold choice, you will gain a 30% bonus coin buff for the game! Other Added 5 minutes to the Game End timer Added a new cosmetic kill message pack from a popular community suggestion thread. ▶ Class-specific Herobrine Power - Increased strength by 5% Flurry - Now grants Speed II for 3s instead of Speed I - Added Regeneration II for 3s on activation - Flurry combo now starts on the first hit, granting the effect at the beginning of the fight. Kit - Added Projectile Protection I to the Helmet - Added +10% Strength to the Health Potions for 7 seconds - Added 2 extra speed potions Treasure Hunter - Buffed to 200% Zombie Well Trained - Zombie now has permanent Haste III during prep Circle of Healing - Increased heal to 7HP for yourself only (6HP for allies) - Removed restriction between zombies Berserk - Shortened cooldown from 22s -> 18s Enderman - EPH increased to 30 (post-teleport still halved, now to 15) - Added 2 EPS during Withers phase, 1 EPS during elimination Teleport - Shortened cooldown from 6s -> 5s - Can now TP to as many blocks, but teleporting more than 10 meters while passing through blocks applies Weakness II to the Enderman. Skeleton Explosive Arrow - Reduced knockback by about 50% Shaman EPH increased from 8 -> 10 Wolf Pack - Removed the 2s cooldown - Increased wolf duration 10 -> 18 seconds - Added a maximum of 3 active wolves per shaman - Wolf damaged decreased to vanilla power Tornado - Increased maximum active tornadoes per shaman from 2 -> 3 - EPH of tornado hits halved from 10 -> 5 - A player cannot be hit by more than 5 tornadoes per second Shark From the Depths - Nearby allies now gain Depth Strider II on their boots for the duration of the water pool Blood Rage - Added an effect: "You and nearby allies deal +mM extra damage when standing or attacking foes in water (doesn't stack for multiple sharks)" - Decreased Strength from 18% -> 15% per lowplayer Golem Iron Heart - Decreased duration from 12 -> 10 seconds - Shortened cooldown from 20 -> 10 seconds Momentum - Increased chance from 9% -> 20% Squid - EPH decreased from 12 -> 10 Splash - Splash now gives EPH for every target hit - Added 2 seconds cooldown Rejuvenate - Shortened cooldown from 50s -> 40s Luck of the Sea - Potions of Absorption now spawn in stacks of 3 - Drop rate buffed from 60% (for 1) -> 48% (for 3) Arcanist Arcane Beam - Hitbox widened by 0.25 blocks on each side of the target player - Hitbox now scales depending on distance so it's easier to aim - Damage reduced from 2.2 -> 2.0 - Beam ore mining now a fun AOE, granting 40 energy when mining at least one ore Arcane Explosion - Added EPH of 36 (given once per activation) Dreadlord Soul Siphon - Strength increased from 60% -> 75% - Hit limitation on strength changed to a 5 seconds duration - Healing on hit replaced with 5 seconds of Regeneration I Dark Matter - Armor pieces dropped now cycle from Chestplate to Leggings to Boots instead of being random Pigman Burning Soul - Reduced sound effect volume - The burn damage doesn't shake the victim's camera anymore - Reduce the max lifetime of the springs from 8 -> 6 seconds Cow EPH increased from 10 -> 20 Soothing Moo - Duration decreased to 2.5 seconds - The Cow gains Regeneration I on cast Blaze Melting Core - Added a 1 second cooldown Fossil Fuels - Less particles after the first block you mine Pirate Cannonfire - Increased hitbox by 20% on each side Angry Birds - Parrot lifespan decreased from 3 -> 2.5 minutes Treasure Looter - Added new drop: "Matey Trousers" (Prot 1, Depth Strider II iron leggings) Hunter Force of Nature - Haste I changed to Haste III Animal Companion - Animals (except sheep) now teleport to the Hunter if they're farther than 16 blocks. Spider Leap - Gives 4 hits of Venom Strike when landing Venom Strike - Number of hits now scales based on damage taken (reads as: "Taking fall damage gives you nN% increased damage per heart lost (up to 4 hits)") Nest Egg replaced by Skitter - If you consume 4 hits of Venom Strike in 3 seconds, you gain Speed I for 5 seconds and 20 energy. - Martyrdom achievement has been replaced with Skitterama. Creeper Minions renamed to Fission Heart - On-death effect retained, the creeper now has Resistance V. - Additional effect: "Placing TNT instantly primes it and deals mM extra true damage but doesn't break blocks (1s cooldown per target, sneaking cancels this effect)" Kit - Leggings now have Blast Protection VI Assassin Added 2 EPS during prep phase Shadow Cloak - When attacking someone to end your invisibility, gain 5 energy for every second of invisibility you lost and deal 1 extra true damage Master Alchemist - Easier to trigger from 9 -> 8 HP lost in 1 second Moleman Dig - Can now be activated in protected areas, dealing the damage to enemies without breaking blocks Shortcut - Activation chance increased from 15% -> 20% Junk Food - The food is not total junk anymore. - The cookies grant 1.2 saturation and 4 energy. - The pumpkin pie grants 12 energy. - Added effect: "20% chance to recycle golden apples you eat" Snowman Ice Bolt - Damage per icicle increased from 2.05 -> 2.3 Blizzard - EPS cost reduced from 13 -> 7 Snowman Companion - Snowmen fire rate decreased by 28% - Snowmen health decreased by 20% Winter Treasure - Chests can now be found in snow Phoenix Spirit Bond - Increased range to 16 blocks - Decreased particles - The nametag of your bonded player is now pink Resurrection - Strength reduce from 50% -> 15% - Added Speed II for 12 seconds Automaton A-23 Protocol - If an enemy already has Weakness, its timer is refreshed to 6s but the effect is increased to Weakness II Consumption - Only through consumption, Automatons can store up to 160 energy. The extra energy decays at 1 per second. Power Source - Added a visual indicator on hit showing an approximation of the enemy energy Renegade Rend - Range increased from 8 -> 9 Grappling Hook - When triggering the melee hit refund, also gain Speed I for 3 seconds Looting - Splash Potions of Speed I (15s) now also grant 7.5s of Regen I - Potions renamed to "Regen-Ade" Kit - Added Sharpness I to the Sword - Increased arrows from 32 -> 48 ▶ Bug Fixes Fixed Werewolf Lycanthropy only healing on the first hit Fixed the Strength counter going down when clicking on allies Tooltip on Snowman shovel and Renegade bow now show the appropriate skill Fixed an issue where players being resurrected by phoenix could still hit enemies MEGA WALLS in the sidebar header now respects colorblind settings Fixed "Recycling" achievement Fixed "Don't blink" achievement Decreased Hammerhead achievement requirement from 500 -> 250 Special thanks to the player council for their help with this update and big shoutouts to @SupremeSheldon and @sfarnham.
