  1. Hello, after watching some YouTube videos of players with large items that weren't just heads, like gold ingots/nuggets, gaps, etc. I decided to go through the Big Head pack code to see if I could just do it on my own. Turns out, it's simple :)

    You just need to take the code down below, and put it into your
    Texture pack -> Assets -> Minecraft -> Models -> Item.
    Find the item you want, go to after the end of the "firstperson" section, hit Enter, Tab, then paste this:

    },
    "ground": {
    "rotation": [ 0, 10, 0 ],
    "translation": [ 0, 1, 0 ],
    "scale": [ 2.5, 2.5, 2.5 ]

    Make sure to save it, then if you're already in-game, hit F3 + T to reload your textures. Also, if you wanted to make the items bigger or smaller, you can change the numbers in "scale"

    If needed I can add screenshots to help. Thanks for reading :D

    P.S. if you change texture packs often you can copy the file of each item you make larger and put them in the Big Head pack item section ;)

    Edit: Screenshots added upon request
    I'll be doing this tutorial with Tight's Vapor pack. (although I use a Mac it's the same process, just looks different)

    First screen once you go into your resourcepacks folder
    [IMG]

    In the resource pack[IMG] you use, go to assets
    [IMG]

    In Assets
    [IMG]

    In the minecraft folder you want to go to models
    [IMG] [IMG]

    In the models folder, go to item
    [IMG]

    In item, I'll be demonstrating on the diamond chestplate
    [IMG]

    Open the item .json and edit it, this should be what you see at first.

    Paste the code above like this
    [IMG]

    There you go! :)

    I don't know too much about code, but I've heard sk1er say that you shouldn't directly edit minecrafts code.

  8. This is editing the resource pack code, not minecraft itself.

    Sorry, didn't read it to carfaly. Looks like a great way to edit item size without mods!

  14. If you say so man :p

    Am I not supposed to mention that my first attempt made each item invisible in the inventory and only left a shadow when dropped?

  19. I’m not at home right now so if the thread doesn’t get locked before I get home I’ll see how I can help later, if it does then just message me on here or in game (my messages are always open).
