1. I used to be able to play warlords without crashing, but now about 20 seconds after I enable the resource pack I crash. Does anyone have a downloadable version of the pack do I can use that and not worry about having server-side textures?

  2. Look through the warlords threads up to page 5 there should be a recolored ressource around so you don't crash

  5. Rainbowcraft2 made a simplified resource pack that will improve fps. You can switch to that pack in settings, which is in the green emerald.

  8. What works for me is I set resource packs to prompt, then I go in game, press esc (dont click no) when the prompt pops up, and find the least busiest lobby and go somewhere where there is not a lot of particles. Then I do resource and click the download and then press yes, and it works for me, just make sure that you aren't touching the keyboard at all during this time, or the mouse for that matter.

Have you tried removing all of the packs located in your server-resource-packs folder in .minecraft? Usually, that will fix the issue with unloading texture packs.
