    "Type in the cmd,
    "gradlew setupDevWorkspace eclipse"
    and then press ENTER
    While Forge is setting up the workspace, you can get some popcorn or something to eat :^)
    If you get any errors, please quote me in a message with the error log so I can help fix it.

    When it finished setting up the workspace it should say:
    BUILD SUCCESSFUL"

    Please help me, here is my error message:

    FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.
    * What went wrong:
    Execution failed for task ':makeStart'.
    > Unable to find a javac compiler;
    com.sun.tools.javac.Main is not on the classpath.
    Perhaps JAVA_HOME does not point to the JDK.
    It is currently set to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_121"
    * Try:
    Run with --stacktrace option to get the stack trace. Run with --info or --debug option to get more log output.
    BUILD FAILED

    You need a JDK.

    If you do have one but still not working, you need to go to (on windows, no clue about mac/linux) Control Panel->System->Advanced System Settings->Environment Variables, then make a new Environment variable called JAVA_HOME which points to your JDK folder.

    You need it from the java website. JDK stands for Java Development Kit

    There is no JDK for forge, JDK means Java development which contains the core libraries for java along with the compiler and runtime and debugger stuff.

  17. I export the code into a .jar file and put this file (the mod) in my MC mod folder. But now when I join a solo world or a server the chat isn't working. I don't see any message, when I'm connecting into a lobby, for example, I don't see the message that I join and messages of other people. But I tried in solo to run a command, and the command (/gamemode 0, for example) is working but I don't see it in the chat.
    Hope that's enough details :/

    Thanks ;) !

    You need to build it, not export it through eclipse
