I actually don't have a dad. My mom and I have lived with my grandparents my whole life.
Now now, no sad comments. It's quite common these days for kids to grow up without a father. If you do have one, it would be very lucky of you. Many uncles and even grandpas can step up as a manly figure to you, just as mine do with me.
On with the topic of this thread, yes my grandparents do let me play on weekdays. My grades are usually A's and B's. I make a C here and there. As long as I head to bed on time, I don't think they have any other worries for me to play on weekdays.

I ran away from home at the age of 15. I lived on the streets and did little jobs that required no resume or whatnot. Managed to get into a high school, nothing prestigious. The working age in B.C., Canada is around 14, so I slowly saved up, crashing in my friend's place, occasionally living in shelters. Once I got enough, I managed to buy a small apartment. So now I have a stable job, a small apartment, a nice girlfriend and way too many video games.
