How do I get a Python script to run on my website greenturtle3141.github.io? It's failing miserably.
he knows everything :O
Python is really difficult to set up on a webpage -- it's designed for a computer, not a browser.
If you send me your python code, I can translate it into html and jquery, and then you can put it in.
Im importing PIL (Python imaging library) files tho... do I need to give you the *encrypted* PIL programs too?
gr8 website m8 I r8 8/8
Wait, why are you manipulating image files on a website?
idk, Im just doing random stuff and hoping it would work O_O
Well, if you have a specific thing you need, I'll happily code it for you -- it's the perfect way to practice my skills.
mind just got nuked
I'm making the auto-paintball map criticizer, examining map layouts and calculating advantages on non symmetrical maps based on density (elevation taken into account is optional). Then it outputs the percentage of how unfair the map is, and to whose advantage, and printing a nice rainbow bitmap to display the density
Couldn't you just do this for each map, and then upload to imgur and post on your website? I mean, it's not like there are that many PB maps.
GitHub pages only works for static sites. If I were you, I'd just grab a droplet from DigitalOcean and run it on that.
Much money ;-;
It's only $5 a month for a droplet that can run what you need:
Alright here's my faaaake Python code.
def __init__(self, friend):self.friend = friendwhile 1:
Dog1 = Dog('null')Dog2 = Dog(Dog1)Dog1.friend = Dog2del Dog1del Dog2
JQuery or Ruby seems better for the type of site you are working on...
I think you missed the above post where he showed us his code
