Honestly, because ChatTriggers has moved away from simplicity and to a full fledged programming language, I think that a more simple version could be a good companion or replacement mod. It would have been nice to water down old ct and keep it alive but it was too much work for that big of a code base so a rewrite by someone else is, in my opinion, a good idea. Whether or not you "stole" the idea, I could care less. Even though from the outside it looks pretty similar to how old CT started, you would have had to been using CT for a loooooong time to know that. If you do a good job planning the mod (like how the commands will work, how saving and loading will work, how variables work) then it could be a really good mod and I'm all for that.
